This camera offersa 2 years warranty from Canon India and costs Rs. 37,300.

DESIGN: This is a very small camera exactly the size of your palm but at the same time is sturdy and well-built. The whole body is made of metal and no partof the camera including the moveable screen and the flash that sits in a socket on the left part of the camera feels lose. This little camera has a retro look with several dials and small control wheels. It has a 4.2x lens zoom lens, which provides a 24-100mm equivalent focal length range, covering wide-angle to short-telephoto perspectives. The lens is surrounded by a familiar control ring that offers control over settings. Overall the design ofG7X Mark II is quite impressive.
HARDWARE:Its hardware is equally good. The camera uses a 1-inch image sensor. This one-inch sensor, clicks 20-megapixel images, shoots photos with a lot of detail. It also offers some of the best out-of-camera JPEG images. These images have vibrant colours and the exposure is mostly right. The Picture Style function, lets you choose between eight presets that adjust color, contrast and other aspects of the image to help you fine-tune how your picture looks.
DIGIC 7 Image Processor:The new DIGIC 7 Image Processor’s enhanced tracking and detection capabilities help keep subjects in focus, while ensuring each image has a high level of sharpness and minimum picture noise. Overall, thispremiumlittle product is a perfect camera to buy. The G7X Mark II is compact, lightweight, has a very good lens with wide aperture of F1.8. It is also well built, comes with a fantastic image sensor and most of the time delivers impressive results. The best part is the affordability when you compare it to the Sony’s RX 100 IV which costs above Rs 60,000, the G7X Mark II sells for around Rs 35,000 (its MRP is closer to Rs 40,000). However, it’s a little hefty due to its metal body. If you are looking for a camera to shoot wildlife pictures or if you are going to do sports photography, the G7X Mark II is not a good option. There are some flaws in the lens as well. But this should not be a hindrance if you are thinking to buy this camera because overall, it’s a good package and a fantastic camera.
