2017 is here! So, time to look forward to new and exciting things. To support our fast paced and unique lifestyle, there are some interesting tech products that are going to be launched this year. So, all the gadget freaks and tech-savvies out there brace yourself to invest in some of these new tech products!
APPLE (PRODUCT) RED IPHONE 7 AND IPHONE 7 PLUS:
Apple never stops to surprise us with its new products every year be it the iPad, iPod, Mac book, iWatch or iPhones. Apple recently launched the stunning red variants of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus which is available in 128GB and 256GB. The pricing of this phone is as under:
iPhone 7 (128GB): Rs. 70,000
iPhone 7 (256GB): Rs. 80,000
iPhone 7 Plus (128GB): Rs. 82,000
iPhone 7 Plus (256GB): Rs. 92,000
The bold red iPhone sports a matte finish with a white front and has a silver Apple logo contradictory to other iPhone 7’s where the logo matches the colour of the phone. The proceeds from the sales will be contributed to Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa. The phone is expected to be launched in India by the end of April.
SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3:
Samsung is coming up with this tab almost after 2 years. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is a successor to Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 which was launched in 2015. The look is more or less like the previous tabs but it is better crafted in comparison to the other tabs. It will be available in two colours – black and silver with a matching S pen. It features a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED QXGA display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The tablet comes with 32GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. For photography, the Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and on the front, the tablet offers a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet comes in two variants – one with LTE compatibility and the other with Wi-Fi only. The price of this tab is approximately Rs 40000 with additional Rs 8500 for the pogo keyboard. The tab will go on sale by 24th of March.
BLUETOOTH WATER SPEAKERS:
The Bluetooth Water Speaker is one of the most exciting gizmo of this year. There are around 7 Bluetooth Water Speakers that sync with your tunes and gives you a visual music experience. These are wireless earbuds that fits into your daily life. The most exciting feature of these headphones is the noise-cancellation function unlike. Apple’s Air Pods and Samsung’s Gear IconX, The Here Ones are all about listening. You listen to them, but more impressively, they listen to everything happening around you. Each of the earbuds packs three MEMS microphones, which process the sound around the user and deliver it to their ear canals with zero latency. Using this feature (Doppler Labs calls it Active Listening), users can adjust the noises they’re hearing in the world around them, boosting voices or toning down the party. The shipping of this product had already begun from February, this year.
ANDROID WEAR 2.0:
Finally, the wait is over. Google finally unveiled the new wrist based OS alongside new smartwatches from LG – the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style on 8th February this year. Other devices confirmed for the update are as follows: Casio Smart Outdoor Watch, Casio Pro Trek Smart, Fossil Q Founder, Fossil Q Marshal, Fossil Q Wander, Tag Heuer Connected etc. and should get the update by 4th April of this year. The new wearable OS introduces plenty of cool new features, including Google Assistant on your wrist, standalone apps, support for third-party complications, and many welcome design tweaks.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 AND S8+:
The new addition to the Galaxy series is finally here. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ has some amazing features with the Infinity Display which has an incredible screen that spills over the phone’s sides and forms a beautifully curved, perfectly symmetrical, singular object. Like the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will also follow its rival’s footsteps in going without the headphone jack and removal of the Home button. The much-anticipated tech product will be launched on 19th April 2017.
Nintendo comes up with its seventh major home video game console “Nintendo Switch” which was released worldwide 3rd March 2017. The upcoming game console, is like nothing we have seen before. This hybrid machine is a tablet with two detachable controllers on either side. These controllers can be used individually or attached to the screen. The Switch also has a docking station for gaming on your TV. It’s one of the best gadgets for all the game-junkies.
Apple might come up with three new models of iPad early this March. There are rumors that Apple will update the 7.9-inch iPad Mini and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and may also release a new 10.9-inch iPad Pro.Along with performance enhancements, it has been reported that, like the next iPhone, the iPad also won’t have the traditional Home button.
AMAZON ECHO WITH A TOUCHSCREEN:
Amazon is planning to introduce a new high-end voice-activated speaker with a 7-inch touchscreen display. It would sound better, too with “high-grade” speakers that sound good regardless of volume levels. This will reportedly make it easier to see weather reports, recipes, calendar appointments and news. We aren’t sold just yet and look forward to testing it out. The new Echo is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2017.
2017 definitely seems to be an exciting year for all the Tech junkies with so many new tech products rolling out this year. So, get your hands on your favourite gadget without any delay.
